Piliko Promotes GreeNest at Workshop and Exhibition in the Peloponnese
GreeNest consortium member Piliko recently organized a 3-day The Art of Wattle and Daub event in the Peloponnese, Greece, funded by the Municipality of Trifyllia and the Ministry of Culture. The event was centered around sustainable construction using natural materials, drawing the attention of local builders, architects, and stakeholders interested in green building practices.
The workshop hosted active participants who worked hands-on with natural materials, learning techniques for sustainable construction, such as clay and straw fiber building methods. In addition, the exhibition talks were attended by over 50 visitors, further spreading awareness about eco-friendly practices.
During the event, Piliko presented the GreeNest project, successfully gaining 15 new stakeholders who have expressed interest in the greener construction industry. GreeNest was prominently featured in both the exhibition area and during lectures, helping boost visibility for our mission to promote a circular economy in construction.
We look forward to continued dissemination of GreeNest vision and growing our network of sustainability champions.
